Lenne Klingamen - Actress

Picture
Lenne Klingaman is excited to be a part of True Perfection playing the feisty Diane. Lenne was born in the Mission District of San Francisco, moved to Minneapolis in her teens, and came running right back to California to attend college at UC Santa Cruz, where she set in stone her pathway to performing. After which, she earned her MFA in Acting from the University of Washington in Seattle and then found herself drawn right back to the CA again, landing in the actor’s mecca, LA. Lenne is fiercely loyal to her hometown of San Francisco, though is quite enjoying the LA Mexican food.

You can find her onstage often at theatres such as A Noise Within, where she has played Lady Anne in Richard III; Poppy Norton-Taylor in Noises Off; and Lucile in The Rehearsal.   She often finds herself speaking in iambic pentameter in such fine places as Shakespeare Santa Cruz (Hermia, Midsummer Nights Dream; Gretel, Gretel & Hansel), Intiman Theatre (Lady Anne, Richard III dir. Bartlett Sher), and Lake Tahoe Shakespeare (Juliet, Romeo and Juliet). She has worked with Theatre Movement Bazaar, and is also a member of The Road Theater. Her film/TV credits include Cold Case, A Night in the Sunlight, and various 5 Second films.  http://5secondfilms.com/

Things that make her happy: art, pretending, hanging upside down on a trapeze, and a good burrito.
