Los Angeles native Chris Roth migrated to New York in 1998 where he attended Parsons School of Design for a BFA in Illustration. Chris began branching off into animation early on and is constantly involved with a wide range of projects.  Everything from  illustrations for books, magazines, and album covers, to motion graphics and animation for broadcast and film.

Two of his paintings were recently included in the bi-annual special “200 Best Illustrators Worldwide 09/10” published by Lürzer’s ARCHIVE.  He is branching off into the realm of traditionally painted and kiln fired stained glass windows as well as developing a number of animated shorts.  Chris Roth is a director as well as a member of the WGA.
Chris finds inspiration from life, science, art, animals & music.  He currently resides in his Manhattan studio with four feisty cats— Buckley, Kobie, Scooty and Noopies.
