Ashley Gomes has been singing professionally since she was 8 years old. At such a young age, she was already taking voice lessons, singing for weddings, fund-raisers, and variety shows.
At the age of 12, she performed the National Anthem at Fenway Park for the Boston Red Sox, and for 3 more consecutive years. Ashley also sang the Anthem for the New England Revolution Soccer team, Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics at the Fleet Center. She has sung on the USS Constitution, and for a private dinner for the President of Portugal.
She has performed live with various acts including: B2K, Stacie Orrico, Hall and Oates, Gary Puckett, Cassidy, Felix Cavaliere and The Rascals, Carl Thomas and more. Most recently, she sang live on KISS 108 in Boston and was on ABC as one of the top 30 finalists for the TV show, Dance War: Bruno Vs. Carrie Ann.
Ashley has a 10 song CD which she recorded with Boston producers Joe Bermudez and Josh Harris. Ashley wrote 6 out of 10 songs on her CD. Ashley also recently co-wrote and recorded five songs with Rich Cronin of LFO. She also has her very own publishing company with BMI called “Black and Silver Publishing”.
Ashley has also been playing the piano for 9 years, and guitar for 3 years. She has written many of her songs through the art of piano and guitar. Ashley is also a trained dancer. She has been taking dance since the age of 4, including ballet, tap, jazz and hip-hop. She performed in many dance competitions.
Beyond singing and dancing, Ashley has always loved acting. She has been in various musicals, done voice overs and several TV shows and film. Among her many talents, she is also a professional make-up artist, painter and fashion designer. Her fashion line is called “A”. She is currently in Los Angeles singing and acting.
